Zloty Tur with Tradition

Since the organization of the first edition of Zloty Tur cup in 2000 the organizers of the tournaments have not suspected that within 10 years the tournaments will host the greatest stars of world Armwrestling. On the other hand we should not be surprised as annual Zloty Tur Cup gained confidence of sponsors, media and contestants from the very beginning. The organizational level and the amount of financial prizes increase from year to year:

- 2000 – amount of money for prizes 1 200 $

- 2001 – amount of money for prizes 2 100 $

- 2002 – amount of money for prizes 5 750 $

- 2003 – amount of money for prizes 6 250 $

- 2004 – amount of money for prizes 7 300 $

- 2005 – amount of money for prizes 9 800 $

- 2006 – amount of money for prizes 10 600 $

- 2007 – amount of money for prizes 19 700 $

- 2008 – amount of money for prizes 19 700 $

- 2009 – amount of money for prizes 21 800 $

The tournament itself was in the range of media’s interest from the beginning. Annual Zloty Tur Cup was and is transmitted by Polish and other countries’ televisions (they were regional televisions at first but now they are all-Poland and worldwide ones). Wide relations were shown and are still shown in various press, radio and sports internet services. Since 2005, when Zloty Tur Cup was expanded to Professionals World Cup, it has been transmitted in predominant Polish TV stations (at the beginning Polsat Sport Television, now N Sport).

This year’s 10th Zloty Tur Cup – 7th Professionals World Cup - Nemiroff World Cup 2009 apart from Polish N Sport, several year’s partner from Ukraine – MegaSport and Bulgarian Ring Sport also Russian BOEC TV (NTV+ Platform) wants to broadcast it life. In practice it means that beside Polish, Ukraine and Bulgarian audience the tournament will also gather Russian audience. BOEC channel in Russia has gain popularity thanks to Igor Pietruhin who shows the Russian audience the most important fight spots events, mostly the fights of high end of mma of Ukrainian competitor Fiodor Emeljanenko.

It is clear than Zloty Tur Cup has been a prestige tournament organized in Poland for 10 years. Each year it’s in the range of interest of the best world’s armwrestles and media’s partners. For a long time, before as well as after the organization of the struggles are on a spot. It is simply of yet the most prestige tournament for professional armwrestlers.
