ZŁOTY TUR 2010 IN SOPOT

Soon many fans of our sports disciline will have apossibility to see struggles of the strongest competitors of our globe during this year’s, 11th Złoty Tur Cup and at the same time 8th World Professional Cup – Nemiroff World Cup 2010. This time according to the decision of the organizers - Mazurenko Armwrestling Promotion Sp. z o.o company from Gdynia decided, the tournaments will take place in Sopot, and more precisely in Sheraton Sopot Hotel.

Many of you asked why we went away from the capital of Poland. As until now the tournaments were taking place in Warsaw prestige hotels. Well, there are several reasons of that. First of all the city of Sopot is one of the most beautiful resorts not only in Poland, but also in Europe, famous for its festivals, longest wooden pier in Europe – so the pier of Sopot, expensive hotels, sandy beaches. Shortly speaking Armwrestling has not had the possibility to visit such a beautiful place yet. From year to year the organizational committee are trying to beautify this prestige tournament with different attractions. So there is nothing surprising that this year’s edition of World Armwrestling Professional Cup is taking place in one of the most beautiful cities of Poland so the resort of Sopot. These and other aspects as: annual enlarging an amount of awards (this year the pool of awards is 26 thousands of $) makes the tournaments to regin not only in Europe but also on the whole world.

This year the strongest of the strongest will come to Poland on the 5th and 6th of November. Over 100 of the best competitors of the world (including the representatives of Poland) will compete on day for left hand (the 5th of November), on the second day for right hand (the 6th of November). At the end of the year we will get to know who becomes the strongest professional of 2010 for both hands.

As of yet we can say that at this year’s Nemiroff World Cup there for sure not miss the full-backs of the titles of the strongest armwrestler of the left hand - Denis Cyplenkov from Russia and the strongest armwrestler for right hand – John Brzenk from the USA.
