Dear Friends

You see, that ten years were passed unnoticeably, from the 1st issue of “Zloty Tur” in year 2000. Thanks to the great efforts of my friend and colleague Igor Mazurenko, the competition was transformed into the most considerable Armwrestling event (after the European Championships) in Europe. “Zloty Tur” was the event, from that was started the glorious career of many competitors, as Rustam Babaev & Ruslan Babaev, Viktoria Ilyushina, Ion Oncescu, Alexey Voevoda and many others. During all these years, “Zloty Tur” was stamped in my consciousness many unforgettable duels, as the win of Tsvetan Gashevski (75 kg) over Alexey Voevoda (100 kg); as the unprecedented classifying of Ion Oncescu on 3rd place in absolute category by his Armwrestling-competition debut; as the repeatable wins of the live-legend John Brzenk and many, many other beautiful duels.

From 2004, the competition has got the name of its general sponsor “Professionals’ Nemiroff World Cup”, with the financial support of “Nemiroff” the event has turned into the tournament with the highest prize-fund in Europe. “Zloty Tur” is the scene, on that were on tour the most well-known and the strongest armwrestling-artists, giving us their unforgettable performances. I feel myself exceptionally happy, that thanks to the jointly partnership between “PAL Inc.” and “Zloty Tur” Armwrestling club, we succeeded to write the competition with golden words in the history of our sport, near to the tournaments like “Yukon Jack” and “Golden Bear”. Thanks to this partnership, we can praise with the big media-interest, that “Zloty Tur” provokes not only in Poland, but also in a number of other European countries. In result of the live-broadcasts of the finals of the competition, million spectators was able to enjoy the incredible emotions, that Armwrestling gives.

For 10th jubilee year, we were tried to organize the competition on more high-level, according to our anniversary. We are waiting for the biggest Armwrestling stars to take in consideration our feast and together to write the next serial unforgettable page in the history of our sport.

In conclusion, as “PAL Inc.” President, I would like to express my sincere gratitudes to our general sponsor “Nemiroff”, to the all team of the Polish Armwrestling Federation, to all sponsors and supporters, that were helping us during all these years; to all competitors and trainers, that were taking part and continue to take part in our considerable event.
